Well, this past weekend was AnimeReactor, now known as the Reactor. And...guess what...move over KuniCon! There may be a worse con out there! ie...this one!
Friday:
Costumes: Kagome (Inuyasha), Dorothy (MAR)
Panel: InuYasha
Well, like usually we got a late start, but miraculously enough...we got out only 30 mins later than we planned! YAY! We got stuck in Chicago traffic on the way up there and I was soo worried I was gonna miss my FMA panel! Well, we got there, I'm half in my Winry costume, and we call Himeko and Animatt to let them know that we got there....shortly after we learn that my FMA panel got moved to 11 on Sat (when the Inu panel was suppsoed to be), and that the Inu panel is now at 7. So, we had to go on a wild goose chase for our badges...like usual >.> And we finally gopt them at the place we started...like usual >.> The con was very disorganized and I was already pissed bout them changing panel tiems. So, we ran out to the car and managed to change in time. When Urd-chan went to get our room...we found out that though we reserved a double, there were none left and we'd have to play freaking $180 for two nights in a single! Obviously, we didn't take it. We planned to just drive home, but Sean saved us and offered to let us use his room! YAY! To make matters even worse...they decided to move Karaoke for Drink Drink Revoultion..and they moved it into the bar! I obviously couldn't go into it >< I was pissed! We had a very lil turn out on our panel cause of the change...I went up to the room around 12 and read some old english then passed out...
Saturday:
Costumes: Winry (Full Metal Alchemist), Meroko (Full Moon wo Sagashite)
Panels: Full Metal Alchemist, Parents and Anime
Well, got up and got ready to tackle the day! The FMA panel had quite a bit turn out O.O I was surprised...but I was moreso surprised by the fact that the audience actually had an intelligence level! It may have gone kinda slow, but we had some fun discussions ^^ I liked the overall way it went. I was planning on changing out of Winry after the panel, but my other panel was an hour later so I decided not to. The parents and anime panel was run by Urd-chan and I was the other panelist XD It was actually a fun panel to do. The turn out was small, but for the most part, everyone in the audience gave some insight someway or another. We also taught some parents what Yaoi was ^.- And Komiko's parents became a common example and a good joke piece XD Hee hee. After that, we went to a McDonald's and grabebd food. XD Sakura and Rin took some pictures of this scary tree there..and some goof off pics, too X3 Hee hee. After that, we came back and I changed into Meroko. Well, before that, I had to keep running back and forth to our van and my Winry headband fell off so I decided to take my hair down to carry my hat in too. The costume still takes me forever to get on XD ANd omg! Guess what!? My shoes Actually stayed togther! Though I think one of them is broken again ^^; I blame the stairs XD Hee hee. Sakura, Rin, and I spent most of the time hanging around with a large group of guys in the lobby. We were all joking and such. Oh! and this other Meroko cosplayer came over and talked for a bit, too! She drew me a pic of chibi Meroko (I was drawing in my sketchbook the whole night). Hee hee. I went to bed rather early cause I didn't want to deal with all the drunks >.>
Sunday:
Costume: Rena (Star Ocean EX)
welll uhm...it was Sunday. I woke up feeling sick..I caught the cold that my family had and I thought I had escaped >.> I pulled out a costume I hadn't used in like forever XD Cause I didn't want to use mimiru. Sakura went as my Claude! Twas fun <3 Hee hee. I didn't have the best day though...I got stuck sitting too near to someone I rather wouldn't have seen....and then I walked NeoMikey and his friend Kristen out to the car so they could get his stuff...and waiting for Himeko to come and add her stuff. It started to rain...so I sat in the car with the door open...it started to rain harder...so I closed the door even more...and then it started to hail...so i closed it almost completely..and still after like half an hour...no sign of life. So, finally when it stopped hailing and let off a litttle, I sprinted to the hotel and almsot collided with Urd-chan and Rin. I was really pissed off and felt like crap...being cold and wet didn;t help any >< Buut...we left shortly after that and I got into a better mood but yeah...I'm so glad to be home >.> That con SUCKED! IT WAS HORRID!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORST CON EVER! No organization, to loose on some rules while too strict on others...people vagrantly disobeying rules (especially the DAMN smoking ones! Only in the stupid specified area people >< ). GAH! But uh yeah....

I'm happy to hear that there is much much worse than AX 2004
Why can't they all be 2003? Got on the wrong like 3 times for registration... still took about a 1/2 an hour.
2005 was coo. Lookin forward to you coming to 2006, if ya can.
You will have to meet beatrice.. ill make her go.. like she wouldn't want to :P
maybe the 3 line mistake was 2002... i cant remember.. it was a past AX.. thats all i know

Annnnnnnyyyyy ways. I wasn't rating the con by that, that's just not really the con. Just what happened AT the con. If I went by that I'd definately say 2005 was the best F***ing con ever. ( I censore myself, just you you. This is your LJ, not mine. ^_^ d )
But ya, I didn't like 2004 because reg sucked ass. I was pre-reg, took me 3 hours. Marcos and Griff were non-pre-reg-blah-blar-blee-i-like-hyphens... anyways... yaaa.. took them 5 hours... and things were scattered and all that crazy shi-- i mean.. stuff..... :D
ok so the psychos may have gone in a little to the judging...
but the point remains... 2004 was not that well organized...
ahhhh man.. 2006 will be freakin great!
you'll come! and we can ignore the psychos!
